Designer Andrés Saavedra’s signature style seamlessly melds the Japanese aesthetic concept of Wabi Sabi with the new wave of Mexican Modernism.
Opposing elements come together to create sensory experiences: Locally-sourced materials such as stone, palapa, and tropical wood; contemporary components like metal, concrete, and glass. Interiors showcase a curated blend of curiosities both familiar and unknown—artisanal fabrics, modern art, handmade furniture, intricately patterned tiles.
Nature meets nostalgia; minimalism meets momentum. Clean lines, texture. An abundance of light.
The outside environment and inner spaces are invited to coexist.
“It’s not just about how a space looks, but how it feels. The environment—and specifically the tropics—is key for this; everything is created with the vision of a new MÉxico.”
— ANDRÉS SAAVEDRA
